The idealists and true fighter, the Styler and Underdogs those around which PUMA often strove were. It was the time in which souped up V8 Streetfighters in the USA that an own race series emerged and became in the 60′s most important national race series. A man connected inseparable with this series is Richard Petty, hence PUMA “RP-43″. Until today, Petty holds the most important records in Nascar. One of the first Racing Performance shoes were produced in the 70′s for Petty by PUMA.

Now PUMA has reissued the RP-43 – the nascar boot’s colorway matched Petty’s tri-color racing car also at the top of the Nascar boot there’s a Petty embroidery along with the sponsors of @ that time. The boot is made of smooth leather and the sole is skid-proof rubber sole! The boot is also available in black & white but those colors aren’t that great.

Overall a nice boot – but I don’t fancy Nascar racing!!! The boot is available in a few places in DE (Germany) but the most convinient place would be OverKill Shop.
