PUMA is entering the luxury sector with the introduction of a line of bespoke leather sneakers by Schedoni, the Italian leather manufacturer that also makes custom-made luggage for Ferrari. The range includes sneakers and bags. PUMA will introduce leather work stations, similar to traveling trunks that will pop-up in 50 stores worldwide and will be introduced in all PUMA Black stores and selected high-end department stores. The production process will take about 4-6 weeks and the product will be delivered to the customer numbered and a signed certificate from the artisan who made it. Talking about exclusivity, a maximum of 500 shoes per color combination can be made, prices are not cheap…you get the quality for what you pay for.
