Do you want to show PUMA and other sneaker heads something a little different?

Our good friends at Sneakart have invented a kick-ass way to design and customize your own kicks. It’s basically waterproof and durable stickers for sneakers that can be applied to make a sneaker how you want it to be.

Sneakart is running a competition with in conjunction with PUMATALK to find the freshest new designs around. Design exactly what you want to see on a sneaker and then you can make it real with sneakskin. All good artwork will be accepted to the Sneakart library and will earn royalties on any sales made. The winner will be chosen by PUMATALK and sneakart and will receive a pair of baskets exclusively customized with sneakskin in their design.

Designing Tips

The artwork can be created with any software or hand drawn but it must be uploaded or emailed as a JPEG in landscape format with dimensions of 290×220mm. It’s important that you get as close to these dimensions as possible and fill the whole space with a pattern or icons. It’s also important that the file is at least 150dpi, ideally 300dpi.

Think about the scale of the design and how it will work on a sneaker, use the basket templates to plan by overlaying them on top of your design or measure a real shoe to plan and get your artwork to the right scale.
