hey guys, just introducing myself here. i've been checking out the site for the past couple of days and just joined up this weekend. i had no idea something like this existed. still trying to feel my way around so bare with me if i posted this in the wrong section. i've been a sneaker head for a few years now and have been collecting pumas for the past year. looking forward to meeting some fellow puma freaks and learning and sharing some info.

peace

That's DOPE kid!

There's a lot of sneaker heads on here! But nothing like my granny - every Sunday she gets together with her fav PUMA sneaks and goes out for a glass of wine at some cheap local tavern (that's Gaelic for bar)  :P

ps: Gaelic is the native language for the Irish :P (don't ask how I know this, I ain't even near being Irish)

oh snap!  i never ran through the ritual!
hey pumaheads, i'm casio.  i guess i'll start with that.  i've hated my real name for years and sometime around 5 years ago i came up with the name casio for another forum (any mazda rx7 people here?).  somehow it stuck and people started knowing me as that.  anyways, i'm 24, male, and currently reside in west harlem, nyc, originally hailing from ft worth, texas.  i love cars (older through 90s porsche 911s, and rx7s/rotary engines), music (MPCs and beatmaking; MPC2000XL for sale!), and sneakers.  i can't afford any of them.
my oldest memory of loving pumas would be a pair a friend had in or around 1995 i guess.  black suedes with green formstrip.  i've recently started to really convert from adidas.  i may even sell some of my adidas to fund some clydes or suedes.
i prefer skinny laces and the short toebox.
i think one of the reasons i chose adidas was, at the time, suedes and clydes weren't being produced.  if i'm not mistaken, they were both on hiatus for a couple of years, yea?  i've worn skate shoes most of my life, but the days of clunky footwear are over and behind me.
oh, and i tend to write more than necessary.

current pumas (size 10.5):
red suedes
ensign blue suedes
black suedes (2 pairs)
blk/hot pink easter basket (never worn)
lime green/sulphur clydes (never worn; i didn't know clydes ran huge!)

pairs in mail:
natural/gray clyde (size 10)
prism violet/whisper white clyde (size 9.5)

i'm determined to find what size i am!!

Nice pics & nice kicks, thx for sharing! I kinda like the slightly scattered look of the pics, and it's clear you love your Pumas, so it's all good.

and to whomever wanted to see the easter baskets...

i think i first saw these at foot locker and asked if they were 2 for $80 cause they were on the same wall as most 2/$80 shoes. they said no.  i purchased on ebay for like $30-something shipped i believe.  they later went on sale 2 for $80 at foot locker.  still new, never worn.  except the pink laces have seen a few days of use.  i can't keep any shoelaces with their rightful owners.
